One year ago today there was a lunar eclipse. I remember trying to stay away for the entirety, but I couldn’t do it.

I took this photo at 8:41 p.m. on June 21st, 2014. It’s not a great photo and has not been enhanced in any way. But there’s something about it that is so striking.
